Inspiration for the prints (this is part of a set of 2 printed for us) comes from the symbolism of the Hamsa Hand, which stands for strength, power and protection, as well as generosity, hospitality and stability.
All of these meanings resonated with me, given the work St. Georges Crypt & Printed By Us Leeds are doing with vulnerable people in the Leeds area.
The words ‘Be Brave’ & ‘Be True’ just seemed right. I’m really proud to have been asked to contribute.
