Screen Printing Workshops

About This Course

Learn how we utilise the craft of hand screen-printing to empower and rehabilitate previously homeless individuals!

In this course you will screen-print your own t-shirt (available sizes XS to 2XL) with a choice of one of two 'Printing Positive Change' designs, as well as a pack of 4 seasonal cards. This will also give you an insight into how both textile and paper screen-printing differs.

This is an introductory course, aimed at all skill levels as we focus on the mindful benefits of screen-printing and how it is used as a vehicle for positive change.

All materials will be provided.

Each workshop has 8 spaces available, which can be purchased as individual tickets or add 8 to your basket to book a full workshop for you and your friends, family or colleagues!

Once purchasing, your will be sent an order confirmation. Show this on the day of your workshop.

We also have the option to purchase a 'Redeemable Code' which is great for gifting!

If you are interested in booking a private workshop (up to 8 people) on a day not listed below, please email us at hello@printedbyus.org and we can discuss a day that works for you!

*Please note that to run a workshop we need to have at least 4 participants. In the event that there is less that 4 bookings on your workshop date, we will notify you 48 hours in advance and endeavor to rebook you onto a future workshop.

Accessibility

Our workshop is based upstairs in our Orchard Square retail unit, please note that this involves a flight of stairs to access the print-room and a second flight of stairs to access toilet. We sincerly apologise if this is inaccessible to any potential attendees.

From ink to income…

We run workshops to teach the vulnerable people we employ the craft of hand screen printing. We then print small batches of our unique products designed by some the finest independent creatives.

We sell these exclusive art prints, garments & mugs via our online shop, and we also stock a handful of boutiques and at our own shop in Orchard Square in Sheffield City Centre.

As a Social Enterprise, all our profits go back into running more screen printing workshops, developing our project and supporting more vulnerable adults into employment.

Our newest venture involves opening up our print-room for external workshops; learn how we use screen-printing to develop skills and confidence and leave with a t-shirt and a pack of cards, Printed by You!
