Welcome to 2025 everyone!
We’ve been looking back on our highlights from the year, and after a struggle, we’ve managed to pick our favourite moment from each month!
In January, we had just opened our very own print workshop! We began to offer our custom printing service, and The Repair Cafe in Holbrook was our first of the year!
In February, Printed by Us were lucky enough to be featured on Look North! Here's a snippet of our amazing printing team being filmed for the feature. 🎥
In March, we were super excited as we officially hosted our first ever public workshop! These are still running now and we absolutely love hosting, wether it be a corporate team building activity, or just some friends coming for a fun day out!
In April, we had a brand new experience! We had our first ever custom order that was a complex four colour design! This custom also crossed off an item on our bucket list, which was printing band merch, thanks to the awesome guys at TOOTH 🌟
In May, we took part in the ever-wonderful Super Seconds Festival! This is always one of our highlights as it means we get a chance to sell our misprints and samples, meaning not only do they go to a loving home but we minimise our waste as much as possible! ♻️
In June, we released what turned out to be two of our best selling t-shirts ever! The iconic 'Buffer Girls' by John Pedder, and the incredible 'Mushrooms' by Emily Redfearn 💖
In July, we had our first staff social! We all went down to Weston Park for an incredible BBQ, courtesy of our Director/Grill Master Terry. We had a lovely time with all of our supported team, aswell as family and friends joining ☀️
In August, we officially moved to a new workshop space! Our workshop is now based in the craft workshops in Orchard Square, and it's turned out to be the most perfect space for us. Come and see for yourself in a screen printing workshop!
In September, we were honoured to be chosen to print the merchandise for The University of Sheffield's two flagship festivals! Both Festival of the Mind & Off the Shelf Festival of Words were a pleasure to work with and we even got invited to talk about this custom job on BBC Radio Sheffield!
In October, we couldn't decide on a favourite moment! At the start of the month, most of the Printed by Us Leadership Team took part in the Archer Project Bossin' It Sleepout, to raise money for those sleeping rough. We raised an incredible £3000 for this! Secondly, the 'Steely Resilience' custom print was released! As many of you know by now, we were chosen to print these to raise money for Lord Mayor Jayne Dunn's two mayoral charities, Archer Project & Roundabout. Not only did the Mayor commission these, but also designed them! You can purchase them on our website or in the Sheffield Cathedral gift shop.
In November, Printed by Us officially moved to Chapel Walk! We are absolutely loving our new shop, and also want to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff for their hard work moving this year!
In December, we attended a few Christmas Markets which are near and dear to our hearts. To mention a couple, Netheredge and Sharrowvale. It was great to see some familiar faces, and some new ones too!
And that's that! 2024 has been a whirlwind of a year, but it has been incredible, and we want to thank all of our amazing customers who have been through the journey with us!
