About the artist
Nick Deakin AKA Totally Okay produced this Hammer print for us. We first collaborated with Nick previously when we printed his “Common as *uck” piece for Pete McKee’s #ThisClassWorks sell out exhibition in Sheffield in 2018..
Nick has been working as a graphic artist and designer for over a decade with commercial clients such as Coca-Cola, Shell, Nike, The New York Times, The Guardian, and exhibiting internationally, under his studio moniker Totally Okay. Nick is a senior lecturer at Leeds Arts University and his research concerns print and screen based narratives considering the endurance of the image through digital and analogue networks.
The Hammer design represents the creative process.
